Early Life and High School Career
Dwight Howard was born on December 8, 1985, in Atlanta, Georgia. He began playing basketball at a young age and quickly showed signs of exceptional talent. College Career

NBA Career
Howard was selected first overall by the Orlando Magic in the 2004 NBA Draft. He quickly became one of the most dominant centers in the league, averaging 12.0 points, 10.0 rebounds, and 1.7 blocks per game as a rookie. Howard led the Magic to the NBA Finals in 2009, where they lost to the Los Angeles Lakers.

In 2016, Howard was traded to the Atlanta Hawks. He spent one season with the Hawks, averaging 13.5 points, 11.8 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks per game.
In 2017, Howard was traded to the Washington Wizards. He spent one season with the Wizards, averaging 12.8 points, 9.2 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks per game.
In 2018, Howard was traded to the Philadelphia 76ers. He spent two seasons with the Sixers, averaging 7.9 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 1.0 blocks per game.
In 2020, Howard was traded to the Brooklyn Nets. He spent one season with the Nets, averaging 7.4 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 0.9 blocks per game.
International Career
Howard has represented the United States in international competition on several occasions. He won a gold medal at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing and a bronze medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.
